2. Information We Collect
Our app does not require account creation and does not directly collect personal information such as name, email, or phone number. However, the following types of data are automatically collected through Software Development Kits (SDKs) integrated into the app:
A. Approximate Location
- Approximate location is collected based on your IP address (not GPS).
- Used to display geo-targeted ads via Google AdMob.
- Precise location is not collected.
B. User Interactions with the App
- Screens visited within the app.
- Events and actions performed by the user (e.g., video playback, adding favorites).
- Session duration and frequency of use.
- This data is collected via Firebase Analytics for app improvement purposes.
C. Crash Logs and Diagnostic Data
- In the event of an app error or crash, crash logs are automatically collected.
- Diagnostic data includes: error type, app state at the time of the crash, and operating system version.
- This data is collected via Firebase to diagnose issues and improve performance.
D. Device Identifiers
- Advertising ID (Advertising ID on Android / IDFA on iOS): Used by Google AdMob to display ads. On iOS devices, the IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) provided by Apple is used.
- Device ID: Collected by Firebase for analytics purposes.
- IMEI numbers, phone numbers, or MAC addresses are not collected.
E. Locally Stored Data Only
- Favorites, viewing progress, and app settings are stored locally on your device only and are not transmitted to any server.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- Advertising: Displaying targeted ads via Google AdMob using approximate location and advertising ID.
- Analytics and Statistics: Understanding how the app is used and improving the user experience via Firebase Analytics.
- Crash Diagnostics: Identifying and fixing technical issues using crash logs and diagnostic data.
- Performance Improvement: Analyzing usage patterns to develop new features and improve performance.
We do not use your data for profiling purposes or sell or rent it to third parties.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information to any third party. Some data is shared with the following parties:
Data shared with third parties:
- Google AdMob: Approximate location and advertising ID (Advertising ID / IDFA) are shared with the Google ad network to display targeted ads and measure their performance.
Data collected (and not shared with third parties):
- Firebase Analytics: User interaction data, diagnostic data, and crash logs — sent to the Firebase Console and accessed only by us as developers.
Other cases of data sharing:
- Legal Compliance: When required to comply with a legal obligation or court order.
- Protecting Rights: To protect our rights, the rights of other users, or public safety.
5. Advertising
Our app uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect and use the following data to serve personalized ads:
- Advertising ID (Advertising ID on Android / IDFA on iOS)
- Approximate location (via IP address)
- Device information (device type, operating system)
Ad Settings by Platform:
- On Android: You can opt out of ad personalization through your device's Google settings → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.
- On iOS: You can control personalized ads through Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. You can also enable "Limit Ad Tracking" from Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.

6. App Tracking Transparency on iOS (ATT)
Starting with iOS 14.5 and later, our app adheres to Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.
What does this mean?
- When you open the app for the first time on an iOS device, a prompt will appear asking for your permission to allow tracking your activity across other companies' apps and websites.
- If you select "Allow": The IDFA will be used to display personalized ads tailored to your interests.
- If you select "Ask App Not to Track": Your activity will not be tracked, and non-personalized ads will be displayed. This will not affect the app's functionality.
How to change your choice later?
You can change your tracking preference at any time by going to: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → TurkMood Player
We fully respect your choice and do not track any data without your explicit consent on iOS devices.
7. Data Security
We take appropriate security measures to protect your information:
- Data Encryption in Transit: All collected data is transmitted via secure HTTPS/SSL/TLS protocols.
- Secure SDKs: We use official SDKs from Google (Firebase and AdMob) that comply with the highest security standards.
- No Sensitive Data Storage: We do not store any sensitive personal data on our servers.
However, absolute security of any transmission method over the Internet or electronic storage cannot be guaranteed.
8. Data Retention
Collected data is retained in accordance with the policies of the services used:
- Firebase Analytics: Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months per Google's default settings.
- Crash Logs: Retained for the duration of the app's lifecycle to track and resolve issues.
- AdMob Data: Subject to Google's Data Retention Policies.
- Local Data: Remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
10. Third-Party Services
Our app uses the following third-party services that may collect data in accordance with their respective privacy policies:

11. Children's Privacy

- Deletion of Local Data: You can delete all local data (favorites, settings, watch history) via Device Settings → Apps → TurkMood Player → Clear Data.
Additional Rights for iOS Users:
- Tracking Control: You can allow or deny the app from tracking your activity across the App Tracking Transparency framework from Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Reset Advertising ID (IDFA): You can reset the advertising ID from Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
- Deletion of Local Data: You can delete all local data by going to Settings → General → iPhone Storage → TurkMood Player → Delete App.

13. Data Deletion Request
You can request the deletion of your data in the following ways:
- Local Data: Uninstall the app or clear its data from device settings to delete all locally stored data.
- Advertising ID: You can reset your advertising ID from Google Settings → Ads on your device.
- For iOS Users: You can delete the app and all its local data from Settings → General → iPhone Storage → TurkMood Player → Delete App. You can also reset the Advertising ID (IDFA) from Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
- Firebase and Analytics Data: Contact us via email at [email protected] and we will delete the data associated with your device within 30 business days.
14. Changes to the Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of the page.
We advise you to review this policy periodically for any changes. Your continued use of the app after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
